This remotely activated comfort/set-back thermostat enables any suitable 'trigger' to act as the user control - say a door entry card, or key-fob switch (such as the PRE6000). Ideally suited to controlling electric panel heaters or wet radiators in hotels, holiday homes, student residences, or nurses' homes, the PRE5500 controls room heating within programmed settings, guaranteeing comfortable temperatures yet protecting economic operating costs - a lower heat level is set to give background temperature, whilst the 'trigger' switch automatically selects the comfort level only when rooms are occupied
